Sara Ali Khan issued a statement and said that she and her family members tested negative for COVID-19.
New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan took to social media to inform her fans that her driver has tested positive for COVID-19. The star kid, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, issued a statement and said that her family members and other staff have tested negative for the novel Coronavirus. She said that they will take all the necessary precautions.
“I would like to inform you that our driver has tested positive for COVID-19. The BMC was promptly alerted about it and he has been moved to a quarantine centre. My family, the other staff at home and I have all been tested negative and will take the necessary precautions. A sincere thank you to the BMC from me and my family for their help and guidance. Stay safe everyone,” the statement read.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 on July 11. They are currently admitted to Nanavati hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also been infected with Coronavirus. The mother-daughter duo is observing self-quarantine at their home in Mumbai.
On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan will be next seen in ‘Coolie No. 1’ opposite Varun Dhawan. The film was slated to hit the silver screens in May 2020; however, it couldn’t release on its scheduled date due to the COVID-19 crisis. The ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ actress also has Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ in her kitty. The movie also stars Dhanush and Akshay Kumar.
